WHAT WE BELIEVE

OUR BELIEFS

The foundation of our ministry is built on these three TRUTHS and helps as a guide in whatever we do as Christians and members of Essence Christian Church:

WE BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER

He is our creator. The creator of the universe and all things exist in and through Him. He is the giver of life and He has the supreme authority over lives. It is through Him we live, breath and have our being.

WE BELIEVE IN GOD THE SON

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. He was sent to earth to die for our sins, and we receive our salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our savior.

WE BELIEVE IN GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy spirit was sent to direct us, He is the revealer of truth. The Spirit’s presence within us enables us to understand and interpret God’s Word. He reveals to our minds the whole counsel of God as it relates to worship, doctrine, and Christian living. He is the ultimate guide.
